The Mitchell Community College Bookstore is institutionally owned and operated by Mitchell Community College.  Our business directly supports the students and the growth of Mitchell Community College.  We are open Monday through Friday to serve our students, please see our posted hours of operation.

Campus Store Events:

Mitchell Community College Bookstore will be transitioning to a bibliu store as of june 2026.

students will be charged for etext/courseware at time of registration and will have etext access on First day of classes THROUGH their LMS.  

in most cases, students will not have to come to the bookstore for etext or courseware beginning summer semester 2026. (some exceptions may apply).

Important Access Code Pin/Etext Note for Spring 2026:

Even though Etext pins are for digital etext, there is still the receipt with the access code pin and directions that are required to be picked up with each order.  Etext pins orders are NOT immediately processed and filled.  Each order is processed and delivered to the Statesville Bookstore, Mooresville Campus Reception Area, or mailed to the student per your directions on the order.  You are still required to pickup your processed order per the way you asked for your order to be delivered.  Access code pins are not immediate and could take two to three business days for processing.

If purchasing access code pins & etexts: Access code pins and etexts will not be sold until the morning of March 16, 2026 due to the short return period. (return Policy: Access code pins and etexts refunds may be made within 5 days from purchase with original receipts and if item(s) have not been accessed.

for Spring & Summer 2026:

Spring & Summer Bookstore Hours (March 1 - May 29, 2026): 
        Monday - THursday      8:30 am - 5:00 pm
        Friday                               8:30 am - 1:30 pm  



Summer Bookstore Hours (june 1 - june 12, 2026): 
         Monday - THursday      8:30 am - 5:00 pm
         Friday                               closed

The Bookstore will be closed:
                            June 15 - 18, 2026 
to transition over to a bibliu bookstore. 
during this time, no purchases can be completed. 

the bibliu store will reopen:
                            June 22, 2026
             Monday - Thursday:  8:30 - 5:00 pm
             Friday                            closed

Financial Aid & Third-Party Billing Students:

Students may charge textbooks, etext, and supplies for the

          2nd 8-WK & the 3rd 4-WK Spring Semester 2026 Classes:

                               March 16 - 19, 2026 ONLY

Students may charge supplies for the Summer Semester 2026 Classes:  

          For classes starting May 18, 2026 (10-WK Classes):

                               May 18 - 22, 2026 

For classes starting June 1, 2026 & June 30, 2026                                                                      (8-WK, 1st 4-WK & 2nd 4-WK Classes):

                                June 1-4, 2026                         

A printed class schedule and photo ID will be required.    

Online Orders:  During Rush, online orders could take 2-3 business days to be processed.

Processing Orders:

Please allow two to three business days to process online orders if inventory is available especially during the fall and spring rush.  Available inventory will be shipped within two to three buiness days of receipt.  This applies to all Ground, 2nd Day and Next Day UPS shipments.
